Insulation test: the source applies 250 V to insulator R1; needle milliammeter A1 is set to too large a range (300 mA), the needle does not move.
Choose the smallest range that does not overload, read the current and enter the insulation resistance in kΩ.
Parametric exercise: the values change with every draw; these are one example.
On the 3 mA range, A1 reads 2.5 mA; R = U / I = 250 / (2.5 × 10⁻³) = 100 × 10³ Ω = 100 kΩ.
